Our Purpose is to connect people who are committed to pray for the Williamsburg, James City County and surrounding area. We also agree to pray for City and Area Transformation.

Our Goal is to discern and pray God’s will (God’s Kingdom) into our area by:

- praying God’s Word (the promises and truths) for our present societal conditions including the moral fiber, financial crisis, threats against Christianity, the crises in families and in our churches, and for our governmental leaders.

- praying united synergistic prayers for unity in the Body of Believers. Praying in the Name of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

- crying out and standing in the gap for our community.

- using our authority in Jesus Christ to break the power of darkness the agendas and schemes of God’s enemy.

Our belief is that when those who are in Christ agree in prayer God hears and answers bringing the Kingdom of God victoriously into our midst.

How can we do this?

First, we discover believers who can be involved and committed to a ministry of united community prayer.

Second, through email we will share concerns so we can agree on the specific issues of our society and the Word of God that addresses those issues to reach our common focus for prayer.

Third, many of us are busy people and one more meeting is not what we need. Therefore, the hope is to use email to connect with each other. However, it could be beneficial to meet as a group periodically to pray together and “fine tune” our prayer focuses.
